I’ve been misbehaving since childhood
I did not feel shame about that
I liked showing off and making a mess
That was part of me growing up
I feel bad for those people who I might have hurt
I was acting stupid, was ignoring the truth
And though I do have someone to blame
I still want to admit my mistakes
I was the one to blame for broken glass
Those years are now long in the past
New words now in my vocabulary
I’m still very tempted by having a joint
Or hitting the bars with the bunch of my friends
The route which I chose seems to be crooked
And I guess there’s no chance I can turn other way
But one thing I’ve learnt and will remember forever
Any journey is easier with open heart
